’cause if you’re up here in the brisk northern arizona weather, there are a few things going on.

Ray and crew have another round of Flagspints going on tonight. Head-to-head fixie roller racing with discounted PBRs at Tacos Locos. Yeah buddy. Spin your legs off, win some shit.

On the complete other end of the spectrum is the Coconino 250/350 . Chad and Scott put their heads together and came up with a fun ‘little’ loop. It’s part race, part ride, and all fun. 7am at “The Place” (aka Mike and Ronda’s) on milton. Grab a giant plate of biscuts and gravy and spend the next couple days working it off.

Not into biking this weekend? Flagstaff Mountain Film Fest is happening as well. It’s like Banff without the canadians or something like that….

If you’re heading south, the closest tour de fat to flagstaff is in tempe on saturday.

What will I be doing? The car is packed and I’m headed north to the land of slickrock, weak beer, and jeeps. It’s a moab weekend. The 24 hour race is happening, but I’ll just be drinkin’ beer and enjoying the fact that everyone else is racing and (hopefully) the trails will be clear. It’s been too long since I’ve made the pilgrimage.
