Another good day of riding outside Bend. Today we took some advice from Steve and checked out the 20+ mile loop around Waldo Lake. It was definitely worth the drive.

A bit of insufficient navigation resulted in about a 2 hour drive to get out there (it took and hour to get back). Once we were out there, the reward was a sweet loop of singletrack around one of the “clearest lakes in oregon”.

Technically, I didn’t do any comparisons to any other lakes, but it looked pretty damn clear to me.

The trail was a lot of fun, and we took our time cruising around the loop and enjoying the mix of flowing singletrack, technical sections, and incredible lake views.
