Well, it was a wonderfully successful bike to work week. We got 19/140 people at my place of employment to ride in on wednesday, which is pretty darned good. We even went for a little lunch ride to a local pizza joint and got some chow. It was a good time. It’s always fu nto see how enlightened people are that they can make it to work on a bike nearly as fast as a car, but cheaper and with some exercise to boot. I even got my buddy ben to ride in. That’s a 28 mile round trip (14 each way) for him. Nice work.

Oh yeah, and by the way Roam was a freakin’ amazing movie. Awesome.

I’m now off to a crazy tour of the east coast for a wedding, a graduation, and some alcoholism with the guys I went to college with. Lets see, the schedule is something like this:

  • Fly from phoenix to philly friday, catch a train up to jesse’s house.

  • drink with jesse, jessa, and cynthia

  • go to andy and nic’s wedding on saturday

  • drink at the reception

  • get up at some godawful hour on sunday morning, and go to the airport.

  • fly to providence, RI in time to see my cousin graduate on sunday

  • drink at the reception

  • fly back to phoenix, and drive up to flag on monday.

  • go do Dan’s house, where he will be throwing me an off-the-hook 24th birthday party

Pretty much a weekend of drunken debauchery. Luckily I’ve been doing more drinking and less riding this week (other than riding to work).

Other than that, not a whole lot to report out on the home front. Just keepin’ it real.
