Thanks to everyone who has been waiting patiently for the HBS kits, I appreciate it. Unfortunately, I have some bad news on the ship date. It was initially scheduled for March 8th, and as you can tell because there aren’t any kits in my hands or yours yet, they are going to be late.

The good news is that I got the printed sample on the fabric that they will be printed on and they are going to look great. The bad news is that they won’t look great here until April. Here’s the email I got from Len at Canari.

I would be getting antsy too ! You have beautiful country to ride in there and with natures white blanket starting to get a little threadbare I can understand your need for information. I do have an update for you however it is not one I enjoy delivering. We are going to be tardy on getting you your order. Our production meeting just adjourned and I can assure you the sparks were flying ,however, I need to let you know that your kit will not be ready to ship until the 31st of this month. If there were some glass to walk over right now I would be doing it and all the while apologizing profusely. I really hate having to tell people their kit is going to be late especially people such as yourself who have done everything on time and correct. We have experienced a “perfect storm” set of circumstances with machines and personnel that ultimately translates into late kit for several clients. I can assure you we are doing everything we can to catch up and get kits out. I know that in business excuses and apologies are a dime a dozen but for what it is worth I am truly sorry that you will be receiving your kit late.
