I just read on the framebuilders mailing list that the Bicycle Legend Sheldon Brown passed away yesterday. I only crossed paths with him a couple times, but I also was a frequent visitor to the wealth of knowledge which was on his website. I met him at interbike 2 years ago, and talked to him on the phone when I was first building up the green machine 4 years ago for some advice on components.
